Easy DIY- INFINITY SCARF

yesss people!!! its my first ever DIY post!! About time, i know lol. Well, i was requested by a "subbie" to create a video on how to make an infinity scarf and so I thought to share it with you too! Pretty easy to make and does not require a specific kind of fabric. YOU CHOOSE!! (Well do consider your climate out there, you don't want to roast in heat lol)
Sewing an infinity scarf or any other scarf does not necessarily require a sewing machine. you could do without it. I chose to make use of my sewing machine for the sake of time, so if you do not have one, then simply do whatever the machine did, by hand sewing.

Items you Need:
Fabric of choice
Scissors
Sewing Needle
Sewing pins
Measuring Tape
Thread
*Sewing Machine- (optional)

Attached is a detailed yet easy way of sewing an infinity Scarf. Click on the video below to watch.

Looking good can sometimes be a struggle. I've been there and still find my way there on certain days. They say practice makes perfect but you'd agree with me, that there have been days you wondered if you were getting anywhere... ha! ok..ok, it really isn't as bad as i make it sound lol.
I decided to share an easy eyebrow tutorial, for beginners out there....Very easy way to have a clean looking eyebrow, without looking over dramatic. Excuse any scary visuals guys (hehe) i tried!. Really hope this helps many out there. Will try to have other tutorials out there. Fingers Crossed ;)

This outfit actually came from this years summer lookbook featuring This frill Ankara Necklace which was purchased from Afraba. The colors, the beauty and quality is amazing. Not forgetting its versatility, it can be worn in many ways(night and day). Definitely a Statement piece.

I would recommend such a look for parties, and casual lunch dates.

Ankara Fever- Skater dress

Ankara prints are a must have in every wardrobe, Well, almost every wardrobe. This dress was designed by me and custom made for me in Ghana- West Africa. I absolutely love the Prints on this dress, the Pattern and colors.

I personally wore this to church. There is nothing like walking into a crowd or gathering in a daring outfit. The colors are bold, and the lace detailing on the collars are very pretty.  Glad i shared this. Hope you like it too, Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.

Fashion Styling 4 (Mens)-Summer OOTD

Hi everyone,
Here is another outfit i put together for our men. Told you I got you all covered. Below is another summer look you can pull off without breaking your bank. Hope you like this...
What we ladies love to see on our men is their best accessory. That i say is "class"! One can easily be transform from "Trashy" to "Classy" and vice versa. It usually has a lot to do with how you carry yourself but one thing is for sure, your Fashion Sense Screams It all. This look does it all, Party, Happy Hour, Beach, name it. This Bowtie from Afraba is definitely a statement piece for this outfit. Would really love to see you men rock this look. Hashtag #Afraba on Instagram or on Facebook if you pull this off. would love to see it.

Stay Blessed

Easter Sunday Outfit '14

yes!!!! i am african. Proudly one and love to show it off too, so don't be surprised if you see different prints and cultural looks on my blog. I have on here a kaftan specially made for me from Ghana. I used to get so excited anytime i bumped into any one dressed in kaftan. I believe it takes a lot of confidence to wear such an outfit out here in the US. Lets just say i took the bold step too: HERE it GOES!! lol

lemme guess, you wondering how tall i am...lol. you'd know soon ;). i love heels so you sure to see more of my height.

this might have come in late but im glad i shared.. love you all!!

Sunday ootd!

Though i love to play dress up, i also like to play dress downs too. Shouldn't be surprising. We all have our days, Days when i want to look my very best and days when i just feel "blah"! this is probably one of those days lol. First of all, my "fake" locs look a hot mess, really dry and old. Very minimal accessories, not to talk of the scotching sun. Even with all that going on, i managed to carry along my most priceless accessory, my Smile!
I got it together eventually. the sun tried to ream out all the energy in me lol You should have seen me bust my moves out on the lawn until my heels got stuck in the soil ha!. (DON'T DO IT lol) Guess that served me right lol
I love me some pencil skirts. they are just comfortable to have on. They give you a heavy load of confidence as a woman because of the definition of curves it provides. Pencil skirts are definitely a go to for ladies with more curves. I normally wear a strapless clutch with such outfits but as stated earlier, i had no feel for anything fancy. just wanted something simple yet fashionable.

Loved my pumps. Very comfortable and colorful. In a day like this you need some color to deflect your mood. It did the Job. Instead of people noticing my mood, the noticed my shoes lol. i personally love huge watches. They feel right to me. I aint a fan of bangles or bracelets, probably because i have a really skinny wrist and they usually drop off frequently , so i had beads on.
This is very simple and Hopefully would give you an idea on how to look on your simple sundays :)
